Man, just when I think this board is slow as shit, some BS post like this gets 1,000 views!

I assume all instructors got letters of intent. So no real surprise there. I did. I think the COS office had some very good people and they should be offered jobs somewhere else, not made to apply for them. ECMC should do this for ethical reasons. I understand as a Business Professor the decision, but take care of the employees too, otherwise you may not have any good ones left.
My thoughts
Campuses got their letters this past week.
Got mine! Guess I still have a job for a while.
The letters of intent have already gone out, and the official offer letters will go out when the deal closes.
Not until deal closes.
They are just starting to go out to the faculty.
If I did not get a LOI, does that mean I am hosed?
What deal?
Smokescreen? You sound like the deal isn't going through.
You people do realize this is just a smokescreen after the December 17th layoffs, right? These letters guarantee nothing other than your employment status is still day-to-day until an actual formal offer is issued and signed.
We at Solce got ours yesterday. ...i guess we are not shutting down after all!!
I guess the RIFs are going out first, so if you've received LOIs then your department must be okay for now. Congrats!
Csc IT received theirs yesterday
This is the OP. I'm an idiot
Should come out this week, but not sure who they will be given to.
nope
What's your question?
