Unless you heard something that you did not include in this post, I would expect nothing to happen to the position. It is a relatively inexpensive way to add a key-holder to a stores staff. I have heard a lot of rumors about cutting positions, but the ones that come up the most frequently are the SMM and FT tech/mobility expert(not FT team supervisor).
