Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Post qualcomm reviews on glassdoor.com

I see a lot of feedback about Qualcomm on this forum, quite a bit of which is useful for external candidates as well as for public opinion and interworking, politics, work culture at Qualcomm. Its also useful to break the fake made up false image that big companies conjure (best place to work, fortune top list etc)

So post anonymous reviews of Qualcomm on glassdoor.com. its the most widely used portal for external tech candidates as well as internal folks when it comes to company reviews, CEO, work culture etc.

I use Glassdoor regularly to read about companies and salaries (Qualcomm included), and posted earlier this year about the suicides and terrible culture in general. Glassdoor approved my review. I think it takes time for your review to show up because each review is vetted. In my case it took about a month for my review to show up and I remember thinking that it would get screened out since it wasn't all positive, but it got approved. It definitely didn't show up as the top review so I would sort the reviews by date so you get to read reviews as they came in.

I am so terribly sorry about my colleagues affected by this layoff. The sad thing is that middle management (below director level) didn't know till the last minute. I also find it frustrating and in bad faith that we have so many reqs posted on the hiring site but when we tried to get an offer extended, it was shot down from the top. Another example of the deteriorating culture.

i see a lot of negative comments on glassdoor abut various companies, those comments were not removed. As for IP addresses being give out, thats unethical, one has to see what their terms and conditions are.

Their website says this on the front page-"Your trust is our top concern, so companies can't alter or remove reviews."

Try to be negative on Glassdoor, you'll be banned in no time. They are also known to release user IP addresses based on company requests, I'd rather stay away

What is your affiliation with glassdoor? Why would I want to create content for them? The site has been sponsored by Q, Q pays for job ads, in my opinion the company controls most of the content there, why would I want to even spend a minute of my time there. I'd rather rant right here, it looks like this is a forum for the employees, I could care less about a random H1 person sifting through paid reviews on glassdoor.
