Thread regarding CompuCom Systems layoffs

Loss of Walmart Contract... lay offs coming?

I don't think that they are being honest and there has been a tremendous drop in workloads in the que. I'm hearing that CompuCom has a target for field techs of 80% billable time, but at the same time they have all this mandatory training and meeting stuff going on to meet contractual obligations with their customers. Additionally, mailing out all the parts. missed SLA's because of incompetence from the home office in filling parts orders, DOA (dead on arrival) parts, and gotta loooovvvvveeee the trying to band aid Lexmark printers back together instead of just getting a new one. I'm not a printer expert, and I also didn't sign up with Compuclown to be a parts swap monkey. I'm looking for something else...and so are the other techs I work with.

Compudumb is a greedy bunch of people willing to create a hostile workplace. Team is great. Team lead couldn't lead him/herself out of a garbage can. Manager is a predator, hell-bent on creating a fearful workplace. Eggshell central. Classless people willing to do anything for a buck. Anything.
