Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Quote from the official blog of the US Department of Education

"Fresh leadership. No senior executive from the former Corinthian group will remain when the campuses are acquired by ECMC – making a clean break from previous management and from the types of practices that put the schools and students in jeopardy." http://www.ed.gov/blog/2014/12/a-bold-new-plan-to-protect-students/

Voice of IT - it says "Corinthian Group" which should certainly include CSC leadership.

This sounds like the best news in months, or even years.

I think that was determined back in July when they ran the Titanic aground. Fear not. They're all very likely walking away with large exit bonuses. Because that's how high level exec jobs roll.

Oh let's be real clear no staff or faculty has any wishes for ecmc to retain any of cci's brainwashed management

"Remember it is only a blog and I would not put any validity in it."

Authorship has meaning, though, and that blog (on the ED official site) was written by Under Sec of the ED Ted Mitchell. That carries validity.

Not to mention that CCi culture of predation runs through the entire organization (save instructors), not just leadership. Bad actors will stay bad actors.

Interesting except from the blog but I doubt that was in the purchase agreement specifically in the terms and conditions. It clearly states the campuses and not CSC which has most of the useless dead weight which has zero value add. Remember it is only a blog and I would not put any validity in it.
