Quality of code does not match low cost. Proven over and over that onsite employees perform better than external contractors.

We can only hope, but I seriously doubt it. I've heard they are moving more QA to India even though they have a proven track record of fail. They deliver things claiming no known defects but the customers tend to disagree.

I put "centers of excellence" in quotation marks because I pulled that phrase verbatim from the slides that SGMS presented to their potential creditors..... I think the full context of it was something like "Cutting costs by relocating development efforts to offshore centers of excellence".

I call BS on that. Much much more likely that they keep the low cost "centers of excellence" in India and get rid of the expensive domestic employees.
