Both India development centers are to be shutdown.

Quality of code does not match low cost. Proven over and over that onsite employees perform better than external contractors.
We can only hope, but I seriously doubt it. I've heard they are moving more QA to India even though they have a proven track record of fail. They deliver things claiming no known defects but the customers tend to disagree.
"Centers of excellence"??? f**king funny - That's a center of modern slavery with arrogant & idiotic bosses and clueless slaves!
Centers of excellence???
Too f'n funny. Shit code.
I put "centers of excellence" in quotation marks because I pulled that phrase verbatim from the slides that SGMS presented to their potential creditors..... I think the full context of it was something like "Cutting costs by relocating development efforts to offshore centers of excellence".
LOL
centers of excellence?? Man I just crapped my pants laughing at that one.
OP is right. Offshore folly is over.
I call BS on that. Much much more likely that they keep the low cost "centers of excellence" in India and get rid of the expensive domestic employees.
great! thank you for the tip off!
I am just curious how come low cost centres will be shutdown?that will be a bad strategy...
