No holiday party for many people! They've been too busy planning the layoffs to happen right before the holidays! The people that get let go might get a little extra "f*** you" bonus since its before Christmas in the USA, but the people who still have jobs certainly won't see any incentive to stay as soon as they find another company. For Pete's sake, I've been asking for a promotion for more than 3 years and I'm not even close to an under performer!
Bonus? Better hope you have a job after this and be thankful. It's cost saving time with the company. Notice no Christmas party.
I think we steered away from the original topic of this thread - bonuses and raises. Do we have a consensus that no resources below director level will get bonuses?
That is right, nights and weekends are the norm there. If you do not brown nose, you will not last long there, no matter how smart you are, or how hard you work. When it comes to review/bonus time, they make up every excuse to not give you a raise, meanwhile, the execs are getting six figure bonus/raise and all they do is lie and brown nose each other all day. The things I have seen going on at this company are downright appalling. I predict that the whole ass kiss management fraternity will be coming to you on an episode of american greed real soon.
Yes, the directors and above there make in the high six/seven figure range, get to work from home, and show up to work a couple days every 3 to 4 weeks, while they call you up on a saturday and tell you that you have to come in and work. On monday morning, they discuss their golf game that weekend, right in front of the pions who they made come into work on the weekend. If you decide not to follow the program, they use fear tactics to get rid of you. Their attitude is go ahead and quit, we will just replace you with another indian.
they do not care about workers
Only the execs will get bonuses. They don't care about retention, otherwise they would've made serious efforts to retain people over the last two years by promotions/pay raises.... Instead they only make effort to retain when the valuable people have already committed to quitting!
