Any company does NOT have to care about you. They just have to pay you! You have your own family to care about you. Go to work, get paid, go home to the family who cares about you. This goes for management and lower employees. It's a bit hypocritical to say "The company does not care about me" and yet WE are showing we don't care about the company by bashing them.

Maybe Heald will begin doing that at some point in the future.
I don't think the poster meant literally "care" as in tenderness or like thereof. I think they mean that the company does not invest in their own employes. And I that context, it is always I'm the best interest for a company to invest in their employees.
