CSc Laid off another 1000 employees on 11/14/2014 further reducing the US workforce. Some of us that were told are great employees with distinguished records and working for paying clients didn't matter. The bottom line is the stock should keep rising but without a good team of focused employees how can then continue to provide excellent services in an ever increasingly demanding client base? Offshore will help but so much talent now going to competitors tells me they may be ready to dump some of the commercial business which is not making as much revenue due to seriously skewed numbers better known byt us as (Fuzzy Math practices).

1000 employees around the middle of November - how convenient for CSC. Thats 1000 fewer active employess as at December 31 who would otherwise have been eligible for 401K matching contributions in January. Kind of like being shown the door and then getting shot in the back on your way to the parking lot. This company is lower than a snakes hips.
I got zapped in March the day after they came up with the new bell curve system. I was one of the people in the Boeing Outsourcing several years ago. I had been warned that if you come in during an outsourcing that you will be lucky to be able to stick around a few years without raises before they get rid of you if you were making decent money before the outsourcing. Everyday more and more CSC workers especially those joining CSC after an outsourcing realize that it will just be a matter of time before they are kicked out on the street. If you are over 60 your layoff will be quicker than you could imagine.
