Please let me know if you hear anything about planned Tech Center Supervisors layoffs. I hear that they will eliminate all of us.

The position in not merited in most locations due to what the company sees as the necessary base sales threshold. It's a position along with the Assistant manager that is under a lot of scrutiny due to perceived expend-ability in soft markets. The company knows that direct to business, dotcom, and remote services is the future of strong profits with conservative costs, after an endless series of attempts to resuscitate retail I think they're beginning to see the big picture.If I were an assistant, a tenured GM (Considered to be over paid), a tech services supervisor, or a tenured high paid associate I would beef up my resume and move on, after all the easiest way to get a job is to already have one.
Are you referring to tech supervisors in stores or in IS support call cetners?
They will... You should be afraid! Polish up that resume son!
