not sure if this was asked before, but do you know what a typical severance package at Sabre is?

It really doesn't matter what the severance policy says in print they don't follow it in actuality. They lay you off just shy of 1 year with the company and then tell you that even though they took over your company and grandfathered your seniority as far as benefits go that does not apply to severance. Convenient, huh? That way instead of paying you weeks and weeks of severance that you are really due, they give you ONE week and make you think you should be more than appreciative that they even gave you that since technically you weren't a Sabre employee for a full year.
1 week per each year you are an employee if your level is below Manager. If you are Manager or above it is 2 weeks for each year. I believe there is a maximum of 28 weeks.
If you are an employee....you can look it up.
