@Anonymous43039, it's all part of the "4profit zombie college crash." Part of years of mass speculation, insider trading, and predatory marketing that makes ITT (ESI) very similar to Corinthian Colleges, Education Management, Lincoln Tech, Ashford University, Career Education (Cordon Bleu), and the list goes on all the way to University of Phoenix (Apollo Group). It's a slow motion ship wreck and many of those in this disaster are not even aware of the severity of the problem.
right, right. has nothing to do with speculation and short positions being covered today due to the overall meltdown of the market. shorts are being eliminated today because the market tanked overall - also, there is little liquidity in our stock to compensate,that's why you are seeing the value go up. this is good for ITT, let's see how things pan out, but it's good that at least some shorts got burned, it'll put less pressure on our stock in future. don't get me wrong here, we have a gazillion issues across the board but this will help nonetheless.
