Anthem (privately owned), Corinthian Colleges (Wells Fargo), and Education Management (Goldman Sachs) are the first colleges to crash in 2014 ("the 4profit zombie college crash"). Many more schools are on the same path, including Strayer. Those who have been with the company long enough know what I am talking about (I have talked to some of them). When marketing and short-term profit supercede education, there is a problem. When a company banks more and more of its success on targeting customers or clients who will not profit themselves, there is a bigger problem. The collapse for Strayer may be a more drawn out situation than Corinthian Colleges, but the company is following a similar path.

Anonymous43267 (and others), you may be obligated to report any fraud that's occurring at Strayer. On the other hand, you have the right to file a whistleblower lawsuit for damages. I have documentation of shorted class hours phantom class hours and abusive fraudulent admissions practices... strayer is now recording faculty and students in class meetings across several states without written permission from any party... claiming ownership of thousands of hours of faculty and student recorded speech as works for hire... and issuing policy documents to faculty about use of recordings for disciplinary actions... my own classes and students are monitored... i am afraid to email you fearing retribution from strayer as they are aware of your public writings... but this insanity has to end and cannot be legal... i have documentation of many students demanding not to be recorded in classrooms in course evaluation surveys... strayer is ignoring thier customers and punishing any employee who speaks out about strayer recording them without consent and for profit... please please help
