I am just curious how this information was obtained. Without naming any names of course, how do you know the buyers backed out and we are now back to the drawing board?

Or a gallon of milk!
There are some really naive people out there. The complexity of this transaction is huge, with all the litigation and regulatory and accreditation activity going on. Even if one buyer got cold feet, there could be back-up buyers, but the negotiation process would begin again once the first buyer backed out (or didn't get the necessary approvals, or whatever else could have gone wrong). This isn't like buying a gallon of orange juice.
Sounds about right since 3 weeks ago local management couldn't stop talking about the sale being finalized in a matter of days and now suddenly they won't say a word. They were pretty darn chatty before. No sale was finalized by any date they had given us and now? crickets!
I believe in Santa.
I believe this to be true.
I heard it through the grapevine . . . la .. la ..la
How low can you go? How low can you go?
So a friend of a friend gave you this sensitive information when everything has been kept so quiet all this time? Right, that's plausible.
No not at all. Heald employee and was told by another employee with connections to our management team. Keep living in denial if you would like.
Troll Alert. Troll Alert.
