I heard that Portland may close out anyways because it has not been profitable and the Heald sell would look that much more attractive without it. Has anyone heard that too?

Portland has a higher profit margin than most of the other Heald's. It wouldn't be closed for that reason. Perhaps another, but not for profitability.
Portland is valuable because of its approval from the State of Oregon, which isn't easy to obtain.
Portland Heald has Everest College Portland so close. It's no wonder the Everest Portland is so tiny.
I say no also. There has been talk of Heald being bought by a Christian based college such as Grand Canyon or Liberty or a private buyout by Michael Clifford's group. Either way, they need our campuses and employees.
My guess would be no. Heald is most valuable as a package, so each campus and geographical region has independent value for possible private equity acquisition.
