Grand Canyon University fits a nice niche: poorly informed Christians. This group is susceptible, even as other for-profit colleges collapse. Many of your targeted victims really believe in prosperity theology, but don't understand what it really means within a neoliberal framework (others prosper from their irrational and uneducated economic decisions).

Gcu has its problems, but its presence in the Phoenix area is very visible and so is its support. Gcu is heavily involved in charitable activities as well as community outreach (something socialists like you are supposed to support). Does it have problems....yeah it does, but unlike the VA and SNAP, it's problems don't caus massive, societal problems.
