Regarding layoff packages or wrongful termination - they are excellent in the renegotiation of the package. Don't sign anything as the offer on paper is low balled. This law firm has handled many several cases!

Take the bastards for all you can. The fact that they "low-balled" you is disgraceful. If you were the valued employee they said you were in your termination interview, they would have offered a fair offer. This just shows how cowardly and despicable the "leadership" of this company is. Manulife is the laughing stock of the insurers right now.
