Probably not. It will be a undermanned day. If I knew I would say it, but the actually date will be decided on at the top and based on HR's ability to get everything in order. Next level management just had to make the lists for their departments.

There's no way I'd recommend revealing what you know. Don't let anyone badger you into doing it. Ops layoffs are not a surprise and should not be to anyone. Anyone who denies that they are still on the table is working very hard to ignore the gorilla in the room.

The only way to settle this is for someone to reveal concrete information, Management emphatically denies in a town hall meeting, a few months pass or the rumored layoffs take place.

You can get angry "Cuts WERE made", but in this case the rumors are true. I can tell you all the personnel leaving have been selected and it will occur in July. Executive management will not clear this discussion if asked. The "rumor" is all over the towers for a reason.
Your right, there was a re-org, but not a full blown layoff. IT had a layoff, but no re-org. A few managers leaving is not what they had in mind when they said layoffs to cut $. This web site is a site that posts rumors and facts about companies anonymously (see home page). If you cannot handle it, maybe you should stay off the site. If you want to clear the air on this one, use Thom T's open door policy and ask him if layoffs are coming and then post the response here.

For proof, how about the CEO Paul saying they would cut labor in Operations and IT before IT was hit last April? That seems pretty solid.

I do not recall Paul or Bella ever reeling that statement back. I would think they would if they could to defuse the current morale issues. I guess in a week or so we'll know if the info is correct or not. I suspect some managers are talking, but like you, don't want any names or highly specific info out for the same reason you used "I demand proof!" for your name. If you have nothing to add or dispute, then I say Paul's statement probably stands. Its' not like they hid their future intentions to Info Tech or Operations. They said they would cut the groups.

Not sure why a High School Grad is a bad thing. One does not have to be in possession of a masters degree to do operations work, yet alone a degree in anything.

Yes. When Paul spoke early last year and late 2012 about the layoffs, 3 times he mentioned IT and Operations will have layoffs. Management delayed operations for some reason, but they are preparing for them now. Whatever stopped them the first time has been handled now.
