2014 will be tough - Marketing jobs are on the chopping block and let's see how this ends up. It's a pity that some people think that marketing is less important than other functions and that marketing can be run on its own.

I'd say support jobs are in more danger as it relates to 2014. 2015 will be an interesting year. Overall 2015 will bring us 10% global lay offs and Marketing might as well be affected during this big purge. Our numbers suck, and payroll is the largest controllable expense Symantec has - so, we'll cut payroll.
