A manager said this morning that there won't be any layoffs because kohls gets tax breaks that make it impossible to go that route.

My manager told us we were "top heavy" in the department and they would not be back filling any positions that opened up. Someone asked if seniority mattered if they decide to reduce staff and he said "no".
Managers don't really know that much....
