Reposted: Forecast for the Q1 was very bad, there are going to be some major surprises in the next few weeks. Any linked insiders know that all tier 4 and eventually tier 3 stores will certainly close. Look at the stores that will lose phones or Apple they will also be on the chopping block. The jump the ship is right now!

They are compiling lists of stores that have not sold a phone in "X" amount of weeks and threatening to pulls phones from them.
If a store is hitting top line and making profit should it be closed just on the basis of losing phones? The problem is, besides the Galaxy S4 and S5 (and Iphones for those that have them) all Staples have phones from two generations ago. Also, most places are selling the iPhone and Samsungs cheaper.
