Is it true that layoffs in Corporate have already started? Kohl's been doing fairly bad and I would not be surprised if we have mass layoffs soon.

Sounds like "pot stirring" to me. Nothing substantial in these replies except the second one. Possible phishing by corporate?
Back office is "finance", "hr", "marketing", etc.

To the first poster...what are you talking about with "back office"? Can't think of any place at corporate or in a store that fits the description.
Sad to say but a large layoff would help the profit margin....It's also sad that so many are wondering what's going to happen. I'm sure managers see this web site...talk to us!
You can more or less bet on this - most of the back office will be affected, wait and see what happens to HR, Finance, etc.
