Thread regarding Lockheed Martin Corp. layoffs

You have similar situation with Lockheed Martin Coherent Technologies, Lockheed Martin Aspen Systems Corporation, Aeronautics Co.... My problem is that here there is no room for advancement and growth. Tons of overtime, mostly not necessary. The hours can be super long and the work can be extremely challenging here at Lockheed. Also, my management is more concerned with the years of service rather than contribution and accomplishments of an employee when considering people for promo or layoffs. The company has trouble staying relevant and the future brings many challenges.

I can confirm this, cronyism and lack of respect for the individual rules at Xerox - I am so fed up with all of this. I'll be leaving in Fall (back to school full time) - however, I pity the folks that I'll have to leave behind.
