McKesson at the former US Oncology location is laying off in larger than usual numbers. This has affected my area and others in my office. VP's have been intentionally vague and nefarious in the handling of the release of employees, including me. We have been informally told of severance packages but HR and Emp Relations know nothing. Dismissals actions have transpired as instructing the employee to walk into an empty room with a speaker already set up for a conversation with upper management. In the room you are told of your dismissal. The person dismissing you is not even there in person. You are just left alone to hear this. This is being done to long term employees with outstanding reviews. How would McKesson management like it if their employee walked off the job in the middle of a critical mission? It just proves that George Carlin was absolutely right. It's all bull@#@^!
