Definitely true- The layoff's were by age mostly and still are- then salary==no experience left here. I would advise to run the other way if you enter a hospital and see Paragon or McKesson on any workstation.
I joined as senior person to lead a team. Six months after my joining, suddenly my company informed me that they are firing the employees who were working for me. The employees were all experienced, skilled and 45+ years age. They were replaced by contractors that are very young from offshore. With such a kind of support (all nerds learning on the job) I had to work for more than twelve hours a day to keep the production system support and enhancements. So, I had to leave to preserve my health, keep family contacts and reduce too much pressure at work area. I see too many people writing the company is great etc... Reality is covered by too much information or lies.
