Heard from an old colleague who went back to BMC that they're laid off again ... no oppty for other positions ...
They had 11 'force management reductions' in the 7+ years I was there, so it doesn't seem things have changed since they've gone private.
Management (or lack thereof) believes that the company can function with executives alone or Indian slaves). They are running themselves into the ground it appears. Cheapest company on the planet. Unwilling to even provide office space which can be a good thing for the employees.
Ever since 2001, the Beauchamp era, this is pretty much the standard. I know managers and directors who left because they couldn't handle laying off any more of their people.
