it's the nature of the beast, get used to it - we would not have survived this long had we not been good at managing expenses. and, yes, payroll is an expense, for cocacola and everyone else. focus on your work, ignore distractions, layoffs will always be around but you cannot change the situation. you can change your performance, getting better in what you do will make the difference and you'll be able to transition if cuts take place. 2014 will be a difficult year for cocacola, our numbers do not look good and the customer preferences are changing, yet, we have able leadership and we are shifting focus on the fly.

F-off whoever wrote this... "Focus on your job" - "do more with less" - "stay at it for the next month and a half" -- all I hear these days, after I am told my job is gone... 21 years... I have asked but I can't even see what the severance offer is yet.... How about sharing the information on the bone that will be given out as a token for my 21 years... Enjoy your 20mm MK
What a joke. Management is lazy, they don't know what their people are doing, nor could they do their jobs. Time is wasted on too many meetings that don't address real situations the salesforce is having. They treat their people like children. They have so many talented Sales Professionals they are losing because they are so unorganized and do not support their sales team. Management does an excellent awesome job of hiding their mistakes, from Atlanta. Does the work "Tour" mean anything to you?
Keeping your head down/ignoring the chatter or "doing your job better" will not save you when the bottom line is that someone can do your job CHEAPER...plain and simple..not better but cheaper. The phrase "Do more with less" was repeated during the town hall and I chuckled...try that with the mortgage company.....I can tell who is polishing the apples by some of the post on here.....
