ILD has been around for years. ALL of the GaAs guys have it longer than ANADIGICS. It has taken ANADIGICS years to get it working after stumbling and bumbling through the development. Not to mention the quality issues. GaN is a technology that they buy from another company. The other company makes money and ANADIGICS is left to margin stack. Ron's "Kick Ass" parts are nothing special. It's is sad that Ron's good old boys finally came up with new parts and they are based on technology they need to buy from another company. The only thing kick ass around there is Ron's retirement account. So Ron's strategic plan is to build low margin parts in the ANAD fab and high margin parts at an outside fab. That's sounds like a real "Dumb Ass" strategy to me.
Why do you think ILD and GaN are not new products? For your information, there are many people who think that both are pretty much solid new products.
