Does someone have information on what our official severance payment policy here at Raytheon is? Is it one week of pay per year of service - that's what my old employer had.

I agree with all comments here raytheon in germany is garbage. The regional supervisor is a racist, s-xist pig and after 18 years with the company no advancement. I have to say in Fayetteville NC raytheon was great I don't want to down the whole corporation.
I was "laid off" from Raytheon Indianapolis on September 11th, 2006. I had 17 years in. I received a whopping TWO WEEKS of severance pay. The place is evil.

I was laid off last year, I was given 1 week of severance per year of service. It's a long story as I am sure they all are, but I was laid off because I didn't play the yes man game with my lazy and incompetent manager and his boss.
If your not retired military and or management at raytheon expect to stagnate and go no where.
I could go on for hours about the issues I observed.
The top 10 percent of workers there are carrying the dead weight of middle management and ineffectual front line employees. Speak up and get pushed out or sit down and shut up is the culture I experienced.
