Administration claimed that student enrollment was as surprise and let about 12 staff members go after the start of the semester. Clearly, this is not accurate as enrollment numbers are determined and set in late June/July. It was dishonest and certainly not the "Christian thing to do" to let so many people go after the job search season was over and there was no chance of finding new employment. This employer is in serious financial trouble due to mismanagement and the consequences are being passed on to the employees.
