Here at Lockheed we are so dependent on contract that it's almost impossible to figure out what businesses will be around in medium to long term. The government sector jobs are secure but if you work for gov on a contract that's something completely different as fund sources can dry up very quickly. So, be ready RIF can happen any time and at any location - it's really a matter of being prepared as most of our guys are very strong from a technical standpoint and can find jobs very quickly.
