I hear that we are preparing cuts in Marketing and IT. McDonald's has done similar things in the past, I would not be surprised if this was to repeat. Several people I know confirmed this. Our IT group is huge and there is a ton of well paid people there, so, we might start cuts there. In Marketing we can do things more efficiently.

McDonalds just laid off 150 employees at the Oak Brook Ill headquarters. Most were from the now defunct three US Divisions. More layoffs expected in mid January
