Thread regarding Lockheed Martin Corp. layoffs

Not a good place to work at right now - used to be much better. Lockheed has very limited opportunities for growth - overall, the workforce is shrinking and the job opportunities limited, it's hard to move up and laterally - your progress will be limited here and it's likely you'll be affected with one or more layoffs. Please note that we laid off people EVERY YEAR for the past few years. Now go figure how downsizing and constant cuts impact employee morale. THis is not only Lockheed Martin issue, all companies that go through contraction have the same issues. I'd suggest that you go and take your skills somewhere else.
