Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

High performers are too expensive?

Are high performers, who are compensated more than the average for their pay grade, targeted for layoff in order to achieve short term cost savings despite, or because of, their high performance? If true then the future looks grim for those who stay to work with the institutionalized dolts who aren't competent enough to find better work elsewhere. Time to start looking around lest you stagnate too.
