CSC is laying off most or all of the people that came over to the company as part of the a major corporation outsourcing deal.
Doesn't matter that they are hard working, loyal employees with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
CSC doesn't want to have to pay their pensions (which was part of the deal), so they are getting rid of them.
They laid me off 2 times, first in 2002, the second in 2012.
People asked me why I wanted to come back to the company in 2012. I thought they had changed, but found out that wasn't the case.
I feel bad for the people that are still there, having to look over their shoulders every day, as well as having increased workloads because of the layoffs.
Maybe they should look more at getting rid of people at the top and working their way down. That would save the company MILLIONS.
