Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Hi guys, I'm an employee at AS in MVD, I've been in the company for a couple of years, and I've been lucky (or not) to haven't been "let go" yet. I just wanted to let you know how's the atmosphere in Zonamerica/Aguada. People are simply sad, very saddened to see good colleagues been thrown off, but most people will just chicken out, gossip between themselves, and then put on a smile when talking with a supervisor or manager (who themselves put on their hypocritic faces with their superiors). Everybody pretends nothing is happening, and all's fine, because they are ALL afraid of being next. I'm not afraid, hell, they've thrown out assets from the company and they pretend that we be happy. They engage you in activities, they want you to participate in all company related stuff (where you give yourself, NEVER the company to you), and then they throw out brothers and sisters, or married couples, from their employment. Shameful ! But what's more shameful is most of the rest of employees who just look away from the good people thrown off, and hope for the best that they will survive till the next "restructuring". There is a lot of fury brewing, they are really tapping on our patience, but if there idea is dismantling Montevideo, they are really doing a good job, because they have ALREADY dismantled spiritually, and are now in the process of impacting notoriously in the work standard we offer. Sabre OFF !
