We are all itching to understand more about what is going on. If they are current, maybe they can tell us how many were laid off in their department. If they lost managers, directors, VPs, etc. Are there more layoffs today? I originally heard that most employees & contractors for this round would be cut yesterday, and most managers and above would be today. Of course there will be more later. If they are current, remind them not to use a company computer to post here.
I was called into my manager's office yesterday mid-morning and he just said he had something to read to me. Fortunately I had advance notice that cuts were coming from a friend.
