Things that come to mind
-
Fall Festival
-
Gong Show - 1st year that I know of that it was canceled
-
5th floor charity room - soon to be gone
-
The old IT VP's (two are left)
Some of these things might sound small to debate, but people really enjoyed these events. It brought people together and that's what's missing. People enjoyed spending time and just taking a break when these events occurred.
Some people posting on here are still upset with the layoffs. Yeah, it was sad to see people go, but its not something that anyone but the 5th floor had control over -> The Bell Curve. If you fell into the bottom of that when the layoffs happened, I am guessing you were chosen. That aside.
Raymond James is still a great company to work for even if the events that we had to bring the people together were suspended/gone.
Vin - If you bring people together you will find that your job will may feel more rewarding. I have been reading these posts for months and some have validity and some are just upset termed associates.
We do need to rehire, I see multiple departments understaffed. Bruce M - Bruce P - MarryShannon and company - Use your fancy xtraction tool and take a good look at the workload in your supporting work areas. Doing more with less is not the smartest objective.
For the noob. Raymond James has a lot to offer, just take it as it comes to you. Don't let this website in anyway change your objective about the company and the way it operates. " even thought we have new Sr mgmt."
