Thread regarding Emulex Corp. layoffs

many were let go yesterday, including some higher up management. pretty much all IT will be gone as they will "outsource" IT. They did the same with outsourcing HR a couple a years back, stupid idea, they are now spending a lot more on HR. Bolton site, that should have been closed 5 years ago, absolutely nothing is going on there, just an empty lab. Good thing is that ELX usually has very good severance pay, don't complain, it could be A LOT worse. Just go find something else, this is the beginning of the end.
