Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

The problem with Kellogg is they decided to hire computer wizards and walked away from sales people and merchandisers. They looked at how knowledgeable you were with spread sheets instead of knowledge of the food business. At one time Boston had the best sales force in the country, then they started laying off sales people and replacing them with computer experts. the sales force spent its time in the field, the computer experts spend their time at a desk. They have no clue whats going on in the stores.
