I somewhat agree with "Anonymous , Tuesday 11/05/13 00:09:47" - We did change focus, more analysis and less relationships - it's still the problem, we lost the touch with customers and buyers. Technology itself is not bad, spreadsheets are not bad for anyone, especially Kellogg as we went through a phase where we did not know what we were doing for the numbers perspective. So you need to balance it and it looks like we went into a different extreme. I left on my own a few years back but I can tell you that the posts are correct, there were cuts in 2009 and it was not pretty. I am not sure about the whole Kashi thing, it's a minimal impact story anyway so I'll leave it at that. God bless.
