Thread regarding Perot Systems Corp. layoffs

Well, if you did not figure it out so far, I am not sure if I can help you. I've been with Perot for over 10 years and I can tell you that this company is all about making money which should not be surprise to anyone. At the same time, Perot does not give a damn about you as an individual, so all those extra hours you put it to make things work, to keep clients happy, to come up with new things and improve the existing ones, that ALL DOES NOT COUNT! Your time will come, you are a number on a spreadsheet, and somebody will decide to do a reorg, to cut cost here or there (Perot is the king of reorganizations) and you will be gone in 2 minutes, you'll be walked out, and that's it. So, if you still have skills, if you still want to drive things and make something out of your career, go outside, try something more rewarding and forget Perot forever.
