Thread regarding International Automotive Components layoffs

International Automotive Components used to be one of the best companies around, we could have been paid better, but people cared about each other, there was always a positive atmosphere, a ton of mentors and you were able to come here and learn trade or business. This is no more, now people are just numbers and the latest round of layoffs (ongoing right now) is proving just that. Now it’s all blood, sweat and tears – people are being pushed to the limit w/out proper support or guidance. This cannot continue. Layoffs are demoralizing, I have not see this low morale in my whole career. I wish if IAC would get all sorted out but I think we have been failing on the executive and top-level decision making level – this can change only if smart folks replace the folks that are running IAC right now, that’s unlikely to happen.
