Thread regarding Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. layoffs

To be honest just spoke to my fnd who is near the HR bay, he said that cog is firing more than 2000 but just calling them and giving 5 days notice period. They are clever so avoiding emails and firing people just by call. To those people who say the people taken out are low performers. No company give a low preformer good apprisal and them take them out. Moreover the guys who are without project for 200 days are now fired which will follow by benchmen for 100 days. Firing the employees are not bad but making the exit in unethical way should be punishable...hope someone take Legal action
