Thread regarding Mayer Brown layoffs

My ex-wife went into one of the big firms, and I'm sure the lifestyle that demanded (in addition to a host of other factors, of course) led to the dissolution of our marriage. It was done amicably, and both of us are certainly better for it, but it's hard to avoid the conclusion that the kind of work she chose created an environment that only a much stronger marriage could have survived.
