Atomic Playpen, once one of the Twin Cities' leading web developers, has closed its doors for good.
When I was over at Olson on Wednesday for its North By Midwest VIP Marketer Summit, I noticed that Atomic's office — which share the Ford Centre's sixth floor with Olson — appeared empty and the doors were locked.
Well, it appears the Minneapolis company announced the closure to employees on July 12. The Minneapolis Egotist was the first to report on it, noting that most employees were immediately laid off, except for a few developers who were completing key projects.
