Nobody that works at Chesapeake Energy has any problems with improving things and strengthening the balance sheet. In fact most here are gladly willing to help. Nobody argues with the "what" has to be done. But the "how" everything is done and process about how it is done is poor.
So if the media really wants a story, start investigating the "how" this reorganization is going down. Everyone in the outside world would be appaulled at the process. This has to be "worst in class" layoff process in any industry. It certainly does not make me proud to be chesapeake employee. For all those drinking the loo laid nobody is arguing that the what has to be done. The how should be done objectively, fairly, with integrity, with respect and with class. The APC guys must not know how to run a first class company
