Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

To S31, I am not trying to be disrespectful to you but you are living in a dream world. I to once loved RJ but that RJ does not exist anymore and never will again...it is/was time to move on. The senior management of RJ have destroyed many careers of some highly dedicated people and that can not be reversed without a major house cleaning, starting with Paul, Bella Sr VP's and HR. None of them respect their associates. I was a very strong Service 1st person with high performance appraisals but the only thing that got me was a high severance package as they escorted me out the door. If you speak with some of the staff that has been let go 95% will tell you they were glad to go, even if they didn't feel that way at first they realize it not long after. I personally think it was the best thing that happened to me and would never dream of coming back. I have a new excellent job where the senior management fully respects my talents and contributions. My advice to you and the others left behind. GET OUT NOW! The hiring firms out there are now seeing what is going on at RJ and shaking their heads. RJ has ruined their reputation in St. Petersburg and will never be a "Preimer Alternative Firm to Wall Street". God Bless You All that are left behind. I'm saying prayers each and every day for you.
