Tom and Aubrey were true pioneers that, while certainly far from perfect, helped build Oklahoma's economy the past twenty years. The technology they helped create and implement saved Oklahoma from a national downturn. The widespread economic impacts of companies like Chesapeake have bucked corporate trends. Did Chesapeake, and others, indulge themselves too much at times and make incorrect business decisions? Sure they did. Had they not come along when they did, most every Oklahoma college graduate would still be heading straight down I-35 to Dallas. Best of luck to them and other true Oklahoma companies!
