Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

I think comparing RJ IT to MK IT isn't a valid comparison. MK, if I understand correctly, used services such as sungard to do a lot of its processing, which is a lot different than supporting homegrown development. Different -- not better or worse. The folks I worked with in the conversion were all perfectly competent. As some have stated, fighting against each other obscures the fact that RJ Management is doing all they can to destroy the department and put us ALL out of jobs.
